    1. Hello Majd how are you? I'm sure that you'll be better than me one day inshala, always aim high and follow your dreams, you'll get there eventually :)

If you want to improve your accent, I strongly suggest you LISTEN to as much English as possible. Listening to English helps you improve not only your spoken English, but also your written form too.

Remember that this process will take some time, so don't be demotivated, be patient and you'll be rewarded in the end :)

Let me know if you have any other questions.

      Wishing you the best.

    1. Hello Amira how are you? I wouldn't encourage you to take a make-up exam because the exam is not really that hard. Just study well, believe in yourself and everything should be okay :)

What should I do if I have the feeling that I don’t remember anything I have studied for my final exam which is on the next day!! I have postponed most of my exams.. but this one is already a make-up one and I don’t know what to do!
    Thank you very much

    1. Hello Maysa, it's a tough situation, I won't deny that, but try to see the bright side of things. You've taken the course before, if you review the material before the exam, that should help you refresh your memory. I would also recommend you talk to someone who has either taught the course or taken it. So try to find someone who knows something about the course, and just have a discussion of the main ideas covered in the course.

Sometimes we think we've forgotten everything, but when we see prompts and questions, the ideas come back to us.

For example, if you ask me what book I read last month, I'd probably have a hard time telling you. Give me some questions about it, and I might be able to answer them. Your mind will recognize the information and will tell you that this is familiar.

      Above all, don't lose hope, when there's a will, there's a way inshalla :)

  18. Thank you very much for your reply and support
I will do that enshalla and try to trust myself more 👍🏻
It’s helpful to know that this can happen to someone like you mashalla and knowing that it’s normal! Thank you 😊

  19. Hello Mr. Farran how’re you? I have a huge problem I hope you could help me with :(
For the first time, I’m taking a course with close reading questions and I have a problem with error language and I don’t know how to improve it by two days before the Mid. Could I have a piece of advice from you Mr?

    1. Hello, sorry to keep you waiting, this message might not be relevant anymore to your question, but I hope the advice I give you helps you out in the future.

The best way to improve your language is to constantly expose yourself to it. If you watch movies, watch them in English (without the Arabic subtitles). If you listen to music, do it in English. Read (whatever you like, books, magazines, newspapers) every single day for 10 minutes minimum. If you dedicate 10 minutes of your day to reading ever single day, I promise you that you will see a difference in a couple of months. Put in the effort to change your routine and daily habits and your language will definitely improve. When there's a will, there's a way as they say.

      Good luck on your journey.

  21. Hello! So I've been keeping an eye on the book of quotes progress and havent seen any progress for so long! When will we be able to buy and explore this book? Last time I check i was told that by the coming book fair, which is November! Will it be published by then?

    1. Hello stranger, I've been working on the book ever since I started the project a couple of years ago, however I came across a major problem; I wasn't getting enough submissions from students. The goal was to publish 200 quotes, thankfully, I've managed to receive the bulk of them, I'm just stuck on the very last few. There is only space for precisely 35 more quotes in the book (updated above). So that's my major barrier now. I will submit the book to the publishers before the end of 2019 inshalla, and so it will most likely be published in 2020 inshalla. If you know anyone who is interested, please let them know. I am waiting for submissions, that's all.

  22. Presentation two minutes for each topic or two minutes for the two subjects together?
The book that changed my life and the one who influenced me is the same thing ok ?
I will talk about his life just like a biography ?
    I apologize I'm very confused

    1. Hello, the whole presentation is 2 minutes. Yes you can talk about a book that changed your life and the one who influenced you as well (they can be the same). But make sure you speak about the person first, then mention his/her book (I hope you read it).
